Before + After
Care

Before you wax with us:

  • Avoid intense sun exposure within 24-48 hours before service
  • Free from the use of acne medications* 6 months prior to service (*Renova, Differing, Retin A, Accutane, etc.)
  • Free from the use of antibiotics, acid-based products (AHA, salicylic acid, etc), retinol or retinoid related cosmetics and niacinamide 5 days prior to service
  • Suffer from  a skin disease and/or circulatory issues, please inform us in anticipation of your session
  • Increased sensitivity may occur during pre-menstruation or taking antibiotics
  • For facial waxing, avoid facial treatments in the previous 3-5 days

After wax care:

  • Skin is like a snowflake, everybody’s is unique! Your skincare routine and post care are super important for best outcomes.
  • Increased sensitivity and redness, pinpoint bleeding, bumps, itchiness and rashes may occur.
  • Applying cold compresses can help to reduce discomfort, if the irritation doesn’t cease in the first 48 hours please contact your physician and keep us informed of your health status.
  • Avoid any heat source for 24-48 hours after appointment, like hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, etc.
  • Avoid sun exposure for at least 24 hours.
  • Avoid exfoliation, use of retinol related products and acid-based cosmetics on the treated areas for 72  hours following the treatment.
  • Avoid excessive sweating and  workouts for 2 days following the treatment. (If you’re someone prone to sweating, it is advisable to change into dry clothing often).
  • Avoid the use of tight clothes.

Before your facial

  • Avoid intense sun exposure within 24-48 hours before service.
  • Free from the use of acne medications* within 6 months prior to the service (*Renova, Differing, Retin A, Accutane, etc.)
  • Free from the use of antibiotics, acid-based products (AHA, salicylic acid, etc), retinol or retinoid related cosmetics and niacinamide within 5 days prior to service.
  • Suffer from  a skin disease and/or circulatory issues, please inform us in anticipation of your session
  • Do you use contact lenses? If so, please remove them prior to session.
  • Avoid facial waxing in the last 3-5 days.

After your facial

  • Skin is like a snowflake, everybody’s is unique! Your skincare routine and post care are super important for best outcomes.
  • Increased sensitivity and redness, pinpoint point bleeding, bumps, itchiness and rashes may occur.
  • Applying cold compresses can help to reduce discomfort, if the irritation doesn’t cease in the first 48 hours please contact your physician and keep us informed of your health status.
  • Avoid the use of retinol, retinoids and acid based products for 72 hours after treatment,
  • Moisturizers and soothing products are good to use.
  • Avoid sun exposure for the first 48 hours.
  • Avoid facial injections (Botox, collagen, hyaluronic acid, etc.) for at least a week.

Eyelash lift and Brow lamination

  • The treatment requires lying on one’s back for approximately one hour.
  • If suffering from conjunctivitis or a stye please wait for it to heal fully. (If styes occur repeatedly, please avoid eyelash lifts and tints).
  • The eyes must remain closed at all times, unless otherwise indicated. If eyes are open during an eyelash treatment, the solutions can come in contact with the eyes and may cause blindness.
  • Avoid any activity that can cause you to have contact with water or steam in the treated area for the next 2 days, as this can cause irreversible frizz in the lashes or brows.

Body contouring

  •  Drink at least 2 liters of water everyday, your body needs to be hydrated before, during and after your sessions.
  • For optimal results we recommend working out after your session, as your body can use all the energy we made available by melting and mobilizing the fat.
  • Pregnant women, or any client with tinnitus, epilepsy, cancer, certain skin conditions, pacemaker or metal parts in their body should refrain from cavitation and radio frequency procedures.
  • Let us know of any health challenges you face prior to session. Manual technique are less invasive then alternatives.
  • Reduce sugar intake, soft drinks, carbonated drinks, and high fat foods as this can improve the results of the treatment, as well as improving resting periods, exercises, and reducing stress levels.

Nails 

  • Keeping the skin and cuticles hydrated can prolong the duration of your manicure and/or pedicure, using gloves when cleaning or washing dishes can prevent your nail polish from cracking, scratching or discoloration.
